In early August [I broke the news about some potential upcoming Air Jordan releases that included releases of the Bordeaux Air Jordan Retro VII, the True Blue Air Jordan Retro III, and more]. Now, we have our first catalog images of the releases that I mentioned and another surprise. Though the dates pictured in this post may be off, the release dates are for the Far East, it looks as though Jordan Brand’s Summer 2011 lineup will include the Bordeaux Air Jordan Retro VII (the blacked out image above), the Cardinal Air Jordan Retro VIII, a wider release of the True Blue Air Jordan Retro III, and the Black/Metallic Silver Air Jordan Retro V. All of these releases match up with the news that I broke in August, except for the Black/Metallic Silver Air Jordan V which I hadn’t heard of at that time.

Of course, I will keep on top of these releases and update with new info when I get it.

Back from ‘84, ‘85, and ‘86 is the Nike Vengeance, Vortex, and Vector, respectively; also known as the Nike V-Series, these three classic Nike runners of the mid-80’s is set for a return for Spring 2011 with a vintage’d out treatment of pre-yellowed midsoles (for character, we suppose) and uppers constructed of mesh, nylon, and suede. For those who can reach back into your internal filing cabinets far enough, all three colorways were originals. Recently Sneaker News showed you samples of the Nike Lunar Max Vengeance as well as the Lunar Max Vortex so the Vintage V-Series will surely maintain the old-school/new-school equilibrium. The Dr. Romanelli x Converse(RED) “Born in the USA” Chuck Taylor Cups Pack finds another rendition of the classic All-Star. Aside from the patriotic upper, this Project(RED) collaboration uses a gum cup sole. Duck canvas dresses the upper using an American flag motif with USA colors on one pair and tonal black on the other. We’ve seen some great collaborations on the Chuck Taylor as of late including the Parra x Converse(RED) Chuck Taylor. Expected to release soon, what are your thoughts?

Reebok continues to build on their ZigTech line with the brand’s ZigFuel pictured here. The shoe employs the same “zig-zag” type outsole beneath a low top runner. made specifically for women, the upper features a white mesh upper that is mixed with leather pieces on the Reebok vector logo and around the toe area. When released, the shoe will be available in two new colorways, Red/Black/White-Grey-Pink and Green/Silver/White-Black.
